Family Ties
This Section is ALL about family
My Mother
Strongest woman I know. She was also a early childhood educator. She taught me what I know about creating a good home environment, about being a good strong woman, about being strong willed, and wise. My mother is at the core of my essence.
My grandmother,
She was the backbone of my family. She and I shared some of my fondest memories. Summer time playing at her house, sleep overs, family get together, her in the kitchen, whipping up something spectacular! My grandmother had reddish hair, I can see her now, dolling up her hair for work, ironing, cleaning, and keeping a immaculate home. I always like to think that I was her favorite grandchild, lol.
My Aunt Joan
She was the second oldest of my aunts and uncles. She was the person that spoiled me the most. She took me to see Michael Jackson when I was nine. She threw me the biggest birthday parties, she brought me little dainties all the time. She made me feel the most like a little princess. We have always been very close.
My Father
Not a man of many words but, a good provider and one of strong presence. This gave me a good impression of what kind of man I wanted in my life, for myself and future children that I might have. He would chuckle at my dancing around, encourage my best efforts and give me a stern look when I was off kilter.
My Sister
I am older than my sister however, she taught me responsibility in a different way. I took care of her at school, ran off bullies, and made sure that she had what she needed when we were away from mom. She taught me about sharing space, secrets, and about how real true lifelong friends begin. My foundations in trust began with her.
