Jobs/Roles in the ECE Community: National/Federal Level

 




For me to pick an organization is has to be something that stick outs to me. The main thing that I look for is that the organization quickly help someone. Lot's of organization are all about talk., speech, possibly even marches, but still does not seem to get anything done, I am a strong believer in actions speak louder than words.

1. The Love Kitchen:  Is an area that is located near the down town area. They usually have events going on like donating your old clothes or being homeless and being able to receive s 3 course meal. On thanksgiving it feels good to feed the less fortunate.

2 Oasis Center: Is another center that is located down town. Its design to cater to the young teenagers who do not have a place to go for one reason or another. Just listening to their conversation you can tell that there soul is in need of someone who care to talk to them instead of them being tread like a no body

3. Salvation Army: Is a great job  to go if you are trying to rid some room in your home. Its nice to see people take pride in what they choose to donate knowing that who ever gets the item that they are trading in will really benefit with the next person.


 The main skill that you will need to have to  work at all three of those job is not to be  selfish. Understand that life challenges can happen to everyone and as soon as one gets cocky and think there life is elite is when that unfortunate disaster occurs. The best made plans that has been developed for years can fall apart in one night. So I challenge anyone to humble themselves and volunteer and of these locations just to be reminded that everyday is a blessings and don't take any breath for granted.

Exploring Roles in the ECE Community: Local and State Levels

There are numerous state organizations that are going on in my community. Each have there on special purpose.  Oasis Center is a very important organization in the area. its designs to help adolescent who don't have a home to go home to a place to live 3 course meals and a friend to talk to. I think the Oasis Center is very important in the growing age to help develop social skills as well as self esteem. 

Nashville Rescue Mission is design to help the less fortunate or homeless have a place to go and something to eat. The thing that touched my heart is every year the Rescue Mission feads everyone in need a hot plate for thanksgiving. Good Character is doing things without expecting a return.

Healing Hands International is design to be a place of worship for the christian religion, Healing s Hands is design to be a church the preaches the faith and hope for oneself to be better in life.  

One of the things that I find that is blessing in my area is that jobs are always avaibale. Lets be honest not everyone has 3 degrees and a Master degree in English to go into the jobforce and attempt to get a salary job. Those didnt choose the options of college that is fine because college is not for everyone. Warehouse jobs are provide in all shifts paying well more than medium rages so that indivuals could provide for themselves as well as there familys. 

The requirement for the warehouse roles are simple things such as have a High school diploma and be able to lift atleast 30 pounds. I am glad that these jobs are available. Its a great way for someone to make a honest livining and possible growth within the company. Life is all about the choice we make. If one roads is not for you dont stop drving just simple turn down another street and find your own way.
